Role profile and JD for: Non-Medical Prescribing Organisational Lead
Royal Pharmaceutical Society endorsed Role profile and JD for: Non-Medical Prescribing (/Independent Prescribing and Designated Prescribing Practitioner- NMP/IP/DPP) Organisational Lead.
Introduction:
The Sussex Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) Strategy Network identified Organisational NMP lead roles as enablers to embedding leadership, quality, and governance for non-medical prescribers in all sectors. It acknowledged the variation in roles across sectors, as well as the dynamic environment in which prescribing currently operates. Subsequently several high impact actions were identified. The outcomes of these actions have been collated here for use across all regions. They have been designed to recognise the responsibility of the post, whilst offering enough flexibility to support the agile landscape in which prescribing occurs.
