This module has been developed to provide Health Care Support workers (HCSWs) with the knowledge required to undertake the procedure required to obtain an Electrocardiogram (ECG) - a tracing of the electrical activity within the heart. Please Note: This training has been developed to support HCSWs in both acute and community settings - please ensure before carrying out any procedure, that you understand the local policies and procedures relevant to the task.
