• To understand what observations are and the rationale for taking them.
• How to take observations – Both Manual and Electronic Blood Pressures, Pulse, Temperature, Respiration Rate & Oxygen Saturations.
• How to document Observations using a NEWS2 & RESTORE2 Score chart.
• Identifying when to take action and how to escalate.
• How to effectively use SBARD as a communication tool.
• Obtain a basic understanding of Sepsis.
