Foundation Programme in Coaching Skills: | |
Description: | Core Foundation level coaching skills to develop better rapport and trust and build confidence for 1:1 developmental conversations |
Format: | Virtual and Face to Face. Mandatory attendance is required to all the sessions. |
Who is it for: | Aimed at encouraging managers to understand the coaching approach to developmental conversations |
Criteria for entry: | An interest in coaching skills |
Qualification at end:
| No qualification, but this course is the pre-course for the ILM Level 3 and must be completed in full to progress to any formal accreditations |
Sussex Coaching Network: |

Description: |
A register of qualified Sussex based coaches (ILM 3 minimum) who offer career and personal development coaching (free of charge) across our Sussex partner organisations |
Format: |
To offer a coaching service across Sussex To support the Facilitation of the Foundation Coaching Programme |
Who is it for: |
Qualified Coaches who have completed the ILM 3 in Sussex, or elsewhere. Also those who enjoy facilitating and can support the delivery of the Foundation coaching programme |
Criteria for entry: |
Completion of the ILM Level 3 in Coaching Skills and a commitment to continue with CPD and Supervision in Coaching |
Qualification at end:

None but potential to work with experienced coaches and facilitators in Sussex to gain further coaching and / or virtual facilitation experience |

If you are an existing trained coach and would like to support the Sussex system in coaching, please do get in touch.
We do not currently offer any Mentoring Skills training but we are aware that there are coaches and mentors who have a wealth of skills and experience to offer. If you are interested in being part of a mentor network and become a mentor to colleagues in Sussex, we are starting to build a Mentoring Register to highlight the range of professional advice and skill available in the system and we would love to hear from you.
